Are your dogs vaccinated against Leptospirosis? LP causes kidney failure.
Do they drink out of puddles, and are there a lot of rodents in your area?
Sounds like an infection, not like antibiotica problems in the chicken.
Forgot to mention: Coli bacterias and salmonellae are also able to cause kidney problems. ( now we are back to the chicken - Did they eat sometimes some pieces raw? Do you use the knife and the cutting board for anything else? )
Takes a while until the kidneys are involved - they should have had diarrhia weeks or months ago.
