If they can't handle the dog safely regardless of place, then you ought not to have sold them the dog, period.

I love a dog that tries to eat you when you first meet.
Load a dog in a crate drive 2 1/2 hours take the dog out the the crate and put it on a table, tie it up and let a stranger hit it with a stick, sounds cruel too. But damn it is fun.
Put it into perspective and you can get what is called "truth"

Hi Paul; I hate to meet you again on a thread started by this person, but.......... The above described test would never convince me of a dog's '' truth'' or true value. I have seen nerve bags look dangerous/monster like,in those seniarios and would not cross the parking lot to engage off leash. far too simple, and kids, don't try this at home.

If I understand your comment,
My point was anything can be made to sound bad by someone that does not like what someone does. In other words once you put things into perspective there can be a completly different view if one is willing to see it. For example, the stick hit. Is it good or bad, it depends on ones perspective.
Paul
