We did a breed survey at the ME Regional 2-3 years back. Both dogs extremely strong working lines, multiple time WUSV competitors, one being the BSP and Nationals winner. Neither dog was warmed up on the helper at any time - he had never worked with either dog before, only saw them work and in trials.
Neither handler (35 + years as helpers and WUSV/National competitors each ) had a problem with the helper work - both dogs made the helper work. Had to read the dogs as they came in. No issue.
Helper was Steve.
