No advice but good luck to you. I know of several kennels that have had unplanned breedings, it does happen. Brittany-from your post it sounds like you have decided against breeding your girl. Are you getting her spayed? I know at one time you were adament about leaving your male intact. I have definitely made a note not to leave one of my girls at a trainers while near a heat cycle.......

Betty, I really don't have the kind of interest in breeding as i once had. I'm more interested in training then breeding. Im probably going to breed Zambi (Only if her OFA results comes back clear of any dysplasia of both Elbows and Hips) later in life (When I have serious local buyers wanting to do schutzhund and wont backdown). I am in no rush to breed her. Yes my male (Jake) is intact and will be intact until something happens that requires him to get neutered. I have strong opinions about neutering males. Jake will NEVER be bred because of structure, by pedigree and because of drives (he doesn't have much). Hes offically retired from schutzhund by vet orders.

yeah Brittany peta doesnt like schutzhund they dont even believe in dogs being used for seeing eyes dogs or for the handicap! I used to live near their head office they are a bunch of lying hipocrits and have been caught red handed killing thousands of animals to "save them from having to be tortured being adopted into another home and becoming a pet again" they promise they will find homes for animals then kill them immedietly in the van they are transporting it in then have been caught dumping the bodies in grocery store dumpsters and on vacant land! they are so crooked its not funny!! since I am responding to you I just have to also say Brittany I remember when folks not so long ago accussed you of breeding your two dogs and that your female accidently on purpose got with your male? It seems to me you might have had the compassion you say you have for this person and not have joined in the attack? I dont know the behind story to this dogs pregnancy but am assuming it happened out of the owners watch at the trainers, so how can anyone fault the owner? Anyhow if you cannot find help through gsd try your vet sometimes a vet teck can be available to you for the litters birth, either by pay or volunteer. It is a bit scary for first time welping but it is not difficult. Does the trainer say who the daddy might even be? Well anyhow good luck with it all and i would love to know what happens with the pups please

I'm curious why everyone keeps saying it's the trainer? When did the OP ever mention how her bitch may have been bred? I didn't see any mention of her even being at a trainer's! Am I kooky or what? As far as I can tell the 1st mention of "a trainer" was from a respondent, not the OP!
