I used to have this issue with one of our females. I have found that if I walk( very short walk) the female in between each pup I do not have this issue.. If I have a pup that come out not breathing I use a drop or two of Dopram that I get from our vet. We do an x-ray just to make sure we have more than one puppy. For one puppy we will do a c-section. Those one puppy litters that one puppy can be very large. hope this helps.

Dopram is not effective for much (I think that if you rely on current studies you will have already known this). But if you use a fingertip of fastrack I think that you will see improvement.
