We don't want the media hounding him.  We want the media's help to get his (and other vet's) story out there.  It's a crying shame he is living in an abandoned carwash.  We're looking for more than a couple of bucks for him.  If we can find the right party(s) we can get a roof over his head.  If you're gong to dream, dream big.  The media can get his story to the right people.

It is not the coverage, but employement and a roof over his head. However, if he is that far left/right, he will not get the attention to be able to gain the offer of employment that leads to the roof over your head. So unless BabyEagle4U, can do something, this will go nowhere. However, if once in awhile you think of him out there and can afford a few dollars to send his way, then do so, remember in his current situation, $2 bucks could be a meal. This is one of those situations, were we can not save them all, but we can make his life a little easier and bring a smile to his face, I am in and have sent a check for him. I thank all of you who stepped up and put the time and effort in, that right now is more precious than money, to me right now, so you guys and gals are my hero's.

BabyEagle4U, thank you for doing the foot work and finding out what we were dealing with and what the possibilities in front of us are. I wish you luck in taking this down another path. You can not balme the man for his views of life, look at what he has been thru,  no fault of his own he is disabled and homeless.

All I'm saying is, not everyone wants publicity, no matter how well intentioned.  Assistance, certainly.  Glenn Beck?  Fox News?  Most media outlets will use him for their own political purposes and it won't be about him at all.  Great job on the word-of-mouth via links and FB and other lists, but I wouldn't wish "national media" on anybody.

Has the person who dumped the dog been found yet?

Apparently it was the owner's neighbor who was tired of the dog running loose all the time.  Conflicting stories on whether or not the dog was reunited with her owner since the shelter was loathe to return the dog to the same situation.  Seems the neighbor had been threatening to get rid of the dog if she got out again and made good on his promise.  Don't know that there were any witnesses but this seems to be what is being told as what occurred.  Sad all the way around.

Someone better press charges against that POS.

Be Careful in what you do for this Guy, He may not want media hounding him all we originally wanted was a little help for him or offered It is up to him if he takes it or not
However well intention everyone may be not all people want to be slpashed all over the papers and television
A little Thank you for his kindness to the Dog is as much as i would think the Guy wants, He is a kind Hearted Man to be sure

I have to agree with Steve.I think that this could be heading in the wrong direction  by hounding the guy in that respect.I think the guy would probably appreciate a little help but Im not sure about all this media stuff.And YES,someone should be working on getting that son of a bitch who is responsible for doing that to the dog some media coverage.He is the one who truely needs the media coverage.
