About US & Our Kennel,
I met my husband in 2001 he had been long into breeding English Bulldogs, Sir Hamilton was my husbands sire and buddy for many years a true champion himself, great companion, well-tempered and so handsome, sadly we lost Sir Hamilton tragically when we were visiting my sisters farm and he ran right through to the horse stalls Sir Memorial Hamilton passed that night. I loved what my husband did and I became right away became involved in MBT's myself and bought my first little guy "Highvoltage Bullet" & “Dixie-Gal " in 2004 it was love at first sight... But boy what a fierce little pair!!! Shortly after my husband jumped on board with me and we have stayed loving & dedicated parents to our MBT's and only dedicate ourselves to this breed all the while keeping the gene pool small and as healthy as can be... We are privately owned kennel. We love our MBT’s and want to become involved in the social scene with others who share our interests, MBTCA club, agility club, obedience club or any other club whose mission it is to celebrate MBT’s in some way. All of our success is because we place a high value on personal integrity and represent both our MBT’s and ourselves in an ethical and respectable manner. Also, we have a diligence in paying close attention to detail; trying to x out a bad gene pool in our MBT’s, we currently own 4 as of now and all are PLL clear, Heart, & Kidney normal. As a reputable breeder I would bring focus not only to the value of our MBT’s but also the quality of buyers. Furthermore, I am a hard, smart-working, self-starter who in BREEDING: conscientiously plans each litter based on the parents' appropriate temperament and qualities in relation to the breed's AKC approved official Breed Standard, and before deciding to produce a litter, consider the possibilities of properly placing puppies we cannot keep ourselves. For breeding we only use, adults which are sound temperament: are free from congenital defects such as hereditary orchidism (i.e., males whose testicles are not both normally descended) blindness, deafness, etc., and those whose hips have been x-rayed with proper positioning and pronounced normal by a veterinarian personally qualified in the field of hip dysplasia. We only breed healthy, fully mature (for our breed) bitches; allows proper spacing between litters, urges purchasers to spay or neuter those animals which for any reason will not or should not be used for breeding, and to properly safeguard unspayed bitches from unplanned mating’s. HEALTH: All our stock is kept under sanitary conditions and is given maximum health protection through worming and inoculations and we seek veterinary care when necessary REGISTRATION: We register our breeding stock with the American Kennel Club and keeps accurate records of mating’s and pedigrees. SALES: We do not sell or consign puppies or adults to pet shops or other commercial dealers. We sell our purebred MBT’s, permits stud service, and leases stud and bitches ONLY to individuals who give satisfactory evidence they will give them proper care and attention, and are in accord with this CODE OF ETHICS. We make available to the novice the benefits of this advice and experience. All stock leaving our possession is at least nine-weeks-old. We provide buyers with written details on feeding; general care; data on worming and inoculations against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, paro-virus, etc., and the purebred MBT’s four generation pedigree. We provide and require written agreements signed by all parties to all sales and other transactions, and accordingly completes and delivers the forms necessary for registration. NOTES: UNDER AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB RULES APPLYING TO REGISTRATION AND DISCIPLINE (CHAPTER 3, SECTION 6) – All such forms MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUPPLIED by all parties to transactions, unless they have agreed otherwise in written, signed agreements. All our advertising is factual. It does not offer purebred MBT’s at less than the minimum price, nor is it so worded so as to attract undesirable buyers, or to encourage raising purebred MBT’s merely as a money-making scheme. We do not supply purebred MBT’s for raffles, “give-away” prizes or other such projects. PRICE: By selling a minimum price for our young puppies we uphold the value of the breed and of our own stock. We give our adults and puppies first-class care and cannot afford to sell at a low price. When confronted by a situation covered by this CODE OF ETHICS, we conduct ourselves as he would like to be treated under similar circumstances. I do hereby affirm that I am in good standing with the American Kennel Club and that I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Miniature Bull Terrier Club Of America, and do also agree to conduct our activities with regards to MBT as suggested by the breeders Code of Ethics we so truly believe and live by.
