It's not too much nonsense,
gouda began this thread with his fear and hatred of Islam, that's pretty real I'd say.

I guess the nonsense comes from it not making any sense to the rest of us how one religion could claim to be superior to any other.

I doubt I really missed Shtal's 'point';  I can spot an allegory as much as
anyone else can.

However, Shtal,  your failure to be able to MAKE your point in straightforward
& crystal clear language is entirely your own, don't blame that on the bible.
Can't help feeling that if you were as sure in your belief as you try to convince
us all you are, you would be better at this point-scoring business.Kiss

Okay, maybe not landlords, literally, just "property managers", lol

Pro Bono, of course!

To extrapolate this subject for you a bit, a new believer who had been reborn again, in other words who did accepted Jesus Christ as a personal saver?  Reborn means you crucified your sins on the cross “like sheep agrees to become a victim” and die “meaning” repent from sin. (Repent means - make 180 degrees turn) you have confessed your sins, and so with that in mind. Life of the human divides into two measurements; exterior is the flesh style of life and interior is the spiritual style of life. Exterior is to live the life how our flesh desires, and interior / spiritual is to live and dress the life how God wants. And people know that our flesh didn’t born upwards “holy”, and our flesh does NOT inherent the kingdom of God, but the Bible says that our flesh can bereave / divest the kingdom of God. So the new believer in Christ, have to learn and overcome flesh sinful desires. This is what Christians should do…If we stay focus and firmly say no to our sinful flesh desires then suddenly embarked the power of God’s spirit to help us, but if we say to our flesh yes with open arms, then the Holy Spirit indent / steps back to the side while we fulfill the desires of our flesh. And that is why I said in order to live by the spirit, Bible says we should crucify our egoism, meaning our pride. To die for ourselves is only possible on Golgotha with the Christ. That said, Holy Spirit (God) gave freedom to people from sin; if we read (2 Corinthians Chapter 3, verse 17). Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty. And so liberty divides into two categories. 1st category of liberty, you are free, do whatever you want or wish, and so independently you can do “Good” or “Evil” and people call this Yeah!!!....true Liberty. Meaning, nobody is standing on your throat/soul and nobody is saying to you - NO, STOP... “Whatever I want I do so”….Now let’s take a look at 2nd category of liberty. It’s called restricted form of liberty; this liberty is free from sin and from all sinful habits, through execution of God desire to our soul. God says that your liberty should NOT enslave your spirit; chosen liberty by your will should bring your spirit to the control but not your flesh that desires to consummation of intentions. God offers to all people, not the liberty of some sort unknown direction but the liberty from sin and this liberty brought forth by Holy Spirit (God). Where the Holy Spirit settles then their - comes liberty; liberty [is] not being attach to evil ways. And I will repeat this again (Romans Chapter 8) [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Not I who set myself free, but the law of spirit; his heavenly power has set me free from the law of sin. And the spirit law of life it doesn’t destroys sin; sin did NOT died, sin continues to tempt, but I died for the sin and if I died for the sin, then sin will no longer scares me with charms/attractions or desires. The power of Holy Spirit overcomes/conquers sin desires and it overcomes sin appetency / inclination.

And in contrary if we look at other example in Bible:
Malachi Chapter 3:7-10
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Jews asked Malachi in the scripture: "How shall we repent?" They did not ask that question because I do not know how to turn to God, but because they saw no need for it. They said: "How shall we repent? After all, we religious people, we believe in God. The Lord calls us to repent. How can all of us turn/repent...And so unexpectedly God had answered the question for this people, although it is clearly that the answer they were not seeking it, but with all of this he did NOT immediately explain what repent actually means. In the beginning, in verses 8 and 9, he says, what prevents to repent.
Question… Can a man rob God? Yet you rob me. But ye say wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings: God answers their question - in fact - it shows why necessity for repent. These people don’t see their sins, and therefore were not able to turn to God. Malachi points to their sin and says; you are robbing God. Israelis, they did not bring the tithe. They enjoyed all that the LORD gave them in this world, but didn’t pay the appreciation, recognition, gratitude. And they steal, they rob God and that was there sin. Malachi indicates not only a sin but also its consequences. He says: "Cursed are you cursed, for what ye have robbed me." Curse means death, and it's about the fact that God has sentenced a man to death, to destruction. And this curse is fulfilled in their lives. They seem to be living, but at the same time because of sin were alienated from God, and that is death. And the future they await complete curse, people will be alienated from God, forever deprived of life.
