On a side note, the military did do exercises here in the area years back and did touch down on private land which I was personally witness to, that's illegal.
Using night/vision technology and portable GPS or infrared systems, jets, trucks, and (green) helicopters.

             I will try and find the old deposition of the Colonel
who refused to take part, and had some inside information
on why the exercises were taking place (70's-80's). The military stopped 
most of their training here in the USA. I remember it was  an
every day thing in California in the late 70's and than it stopped...
It all sounds so crazy...but we need to remember 78 million people
have been murdered by their own Government according to
Amnesty International.......I say Defend the first and second Amendments,
and the Constitution of this great country.
As late as 1996 in Pittsburgh....residents are awaken and had the shit scared out of them.

-- Depends if the owner agrees to allow training/landings to take place on his/her property. Most of my southern property line backs up to a Military air field, my family from the early 1800's allowed the Military to use that part of the lower mountain for training and landings. 

When my great grand parents both died the Military didn't take long to request permission to use that land from me. I always did like to see soldiers doing what they do and wondering around down there. Makes me feel alot more safer concidering I'm a single mom all by my self in the middle of nowheres. At least I don't have to worry about trespassers coming up from the south. (LOL)

A couple years ago I decided to post all my mountain land because of hunters 1/2 arse shooting animals (I was getting fed up finding 1/2 dead animals running around), I ran in to some soldiers down there and they not only posted my signs for me in that area, they also posted their own signs saying Military Occupied Territory.

So I disagree with it being illegal for the Military to train/land on private property, especially if permission is given. Or maybe it's a State by State thing, I doubt it though.
