Paul knew that if he stayed near the Lord,Christ would
honor him by standing with him.
He said, everywhere I turned, there was trouble and distress.
Yet,when everyone let me down.when I was alone,and all I could
see was hard times the Lord came to me and poured strength into me.
He delivered me from the devils trap.He gave me an assurance he
would keep me from every evil work.
And he will continue to keep me,until Iget to heaven.

Well it seems my "holier than thou" comment was misinterpreted. What I was trying to convey to my fellow Christians is that we need to be careful in how we address each other and those who do not believe. Sometimes we come across as self righteous. That of course is not a positive thing. Perhaps this article will help us keep our perspective:

Travels I gave you both the means and the end,so just be satisfied.
No Gouda, you didn't name the end, you just called the means the end and pretended it was so. What is the end goal of Islam Gouda?

Gouda, which religion has been responsible for the most heinous crimes against humanity on this Continent? Which religion was part and parcel of the near genocide of the Native Races? Which religion was responsible for "witch" burnings? Which religion was responsible for lynchings? Please do tell, then go ahead and again tell me of the atrocities that are committed in the name of Allah.

Also Gouda, you accuse Muslims of instituting Sharia, yet you yourself condone the tenets of Christianity being law in your Country and ours. Pot, meet skillet. I will say though, it's nice to see that you understand the need for secularity on at least one level, maybe there's still a ray of hope for you.

No offense Travels, I just don't see what a balance sheet is going to prove. Certainly there are atrocities to be shared amongst beliefs. Blood on their hands seems to be a common denominator for humans, with or without a religion, everywhere. Moons is right about something: only islands prevent this, but we are doomed. We are social at heart! What to do about it?
And yes, Gouda is literally coming to the end of his rope. I wish he'd just post a picture of his pup, Dillinger instead. That picture would just make everyone want a kiss. Any where they could find one, lol!

I think the point Travels is trying to make may be that gouda is pushing his dominionism such that he would see the Christian faith restored to the "glory" it enjoyed in the middle ages, while he criticizes the spread of Islam, and its increasing influence in mainstream society. Travels, correct me if I'm wrong.
