Ninja, you have nailed it! Same ol same ol....the people with the crazy kid or adult can't get help until they actually do something to someone, same as any domestic problem , where the wife or GF ends up dead." Ooops", goes the system that failed them.

When Barack Obama was first elected president the first thing the NRA (under the guidance of Wayne LaPierre) did was gin up fear about Obama coming to take away everyone’s guns. Gun sales shot up so fast gun manufacturers couldn’t keep up with demand.

No such legislation was ever proposed or even spoken of during Obama’s two presidential campaigns, but that was easy to get around — LaPierre just claimed it was a secret plan. Well, if it’s a secret plan …

In fact President Obama has relaxed gun laws. He signed legislation that makes it legal to carry firearms into federal parks. And hyper-conservative Congressman Darrel Issa of California accused President Obama of being too lax on enforcement of gun laws.

But it’s all part of Obama’s secret plan …

We just need more guns, give every man, woman and child a gun.

As passed by the Congress:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

As ratified by the States and authenticated by Thomas Jefferson, Secretary of State:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed

The Supremes made a huge mistake in interpreting the 2nd amendment, the amendment was written in a different time and it clearly spells out what the founding fathers wanted, a militia to fight foreign powers. And just think most of the posts in this thread come from people who believe the Supremes were wrong on Obama care, lmao.

Answer me this-if guns will stop this mass killing why haven't they up to this point? Why is there more mass killings? Families not raising their kids right? LMAO, has been said since the 1960s and now with expanded gun laws we have more mass killings. Just wait I predict even more mass killings, maybe even in your town or my town.

BTW, even sane people can just snap, they don't have to have mental illness. More guns, we just need more guns. Good lord.

Actually, you are completely wrong as to why and who.

GSD Admin, the reason that triggered the Revolutionary War was the "Brittish" ( We were a Brittish colony at the time) started to come around door to door in an attempt to collect the colonist weapons, right here in New England.

Blitzen my dear, gun control was on Obama's agenda from the beggining. Now that he is a "LAME DUCK PRESIDENT" it has surfaced. During his first term he was afraid he wouldn't get elected again if he backed gun control.

Wait until you see how he rapes the military in his second term.

By the way please please answer the following question. If gun control wasn't on his agenda why would he be pushing it as the solution well before the problem in this tragedy has been identified?

The kids a nutcase, we all know that, but what set him off? Videos, Meds, his mother's intentions, devil worship, was he bullyed or was he just a pawn to a much larger scenario?

Using Obama's rational, why not just ban cars? All of these nutcases drove to the seen. How would banks be robbed without cars, how would serial killers perform? Plus we would save around 50,000 accident fatalities a year. We would eliminate most drug purchases. So let's ban cars, they obviously are a major problem.

The title to this thread is:

***How to prevent mass killings***

The answer is simple:

You MUST first identify the cause.

Oh, I understand alright Moons.  I understand that it scares the bejeesus out of you.  This is the beginning, I can feel it. The nonsense rhetoric everyone has been telling about arming everyone "makes us safer" is a load of hooey.

If that sick kid didn't have a mother pretending to prepare for the apocalypse, then her son wouldn't have access to the devastating firepower of a military force, something no individual should have.

So, how come we are seeing more of these killings, remember more guns will stop these killings, not less guns. This is a joke and you people will see that these killings will continue by both the sane and insane.

Just arm everyone. More guns, we need more guns. Hey why don't we also allow missiles, I mean don't we need to protect our homes and arm like militias? Armies have missiles, what the f you going to do with your whittle guns??????

GSD,

The Supreme made a huge mistake in interpreting the 2nd amendment, the amendment was written in a different time and it clearly spells out what the founding fathers wanted, a militia to fight foreign powers.

Where did you get this idea?

Bee,
nothing about this scares me, no one I know is talking about arming everyone either.

I did visit a gun shop today looking for a Christmas gift, all AR style rifles sold out and everything in the store was twice the normal price, I walked out disgusted at the opportunists.

Read the 2nd amendment.  We aren't going to stop a modern army with guns alone. They have missiles you have a few guns. If they want us, what the f are we going to do? Get our rifles out and shoot at the incoming missles? LMAO.

2nd amendment:

As passed by the Congress:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

As ratified by the States and authenticated by Thomas Jefferson, Secretary of State:
