Two Moons

I think, or thought, the Ed Wardle thing was some sort of reality TV, but he was not anywhere near ready or qualified for the task.
The end segments were really pathetic.

Ladyfrost,
this so called goverment melt down is something to take seriously.
If the food supply dries up the fire will begin.

Carlin,
yes, this is not the first time, but this time I'm concerned about motive.

Moons, I was talking about the anniversary of the Sandy Hook shooting has not happened yet. And some gun ownership fanatics want to co-opt the day by showing up in the town to do their lobbying. Around here, we don't like that idea. Guess it is a regional thing!

And, you are too paranoid to be a card carrying member of the NRA? See, that is something different for me! LOL How can a gun dealer not belong, isn't that like going against the good ol' boy code or something? Teeth Smile

A wise thing you speak ;)

Bee,
the news story about this is what is old, I read it several days ago.
And this is going on in other states.

As for NRA,
I came to disagree with Wayne La Peirre during a phone conversation many years ago, it had to do with money and the new office complex they were building at that time.
Also I disagreed with methods and policy of that time.
At that time I was a member.

No, you are not required to be a member.
I advocate the individual invest the time to write letters and be heard , be active, not just pay someone else to do it for them.

No matter what, you must be involved and active, not a couch potato.

??? Hmmmm........ OK... but you don't make much sense to me. I do realize I am nearing the end of my manic phase, so Oh well........!

NRA is huge dinero, so, I guess moons may be saying that if he had some issues with some of their initiatives, continued funding would have meant continued support of that which he disagreed with.  (I'm assuming)
Bee, you mean there's no NRA sticker on the back of that Caddy, lol?

Bee,
what is it that doesn't make sense to you about me?

Carlin,
this was during a previous crisis and NRA was hounding everyone for money to fight this battle, but at the same time building for themselves a multi million dollar office complex.
They claimed they could not get airtime from the major Tv networks and to lobby was their best option, instead of educating the public at large.
Your damned right I disagreed, we're still in that same boat today
And they are still more about money than common sense, they have salaries and benefits, expense accounts, and some corruption just like everyone else.

That's why I think people,  members or not need to be heard from individually as well as supporting NRA representation.

Totally agree, because of the amount of other assumptions made when you are identified with a particular organization, for a particular reason.
