I didn't see that clip. I doubt many will find much to chuckle about if they see this one.

Oh, sorry, could have sworn you admired her hat or something or other, must be part of my rough morning! Coffee

Is this special...about the Enron debacle? The greed responsible for that?

by Blitzen on 13 November 2012 - 14:11

Oh, yeah, I did see that one and it really is hilarious.

No, to the best of my recollection Enron is not mentioned much if at all. It's more of a general look at what the ultra rich do to retain and incresase their bank accounts. Some can't ever have enough I guess.

I enjoy PBS and most programs, I give to my local PBS, but lately they seem to be using regular commercial style advertising of large corporate sponsors and this is troubling to me.

I call it a conflict of interest and damaging to their credibility.

by Blitzen on 13 November 2012 - 21:11

Well, I don't know and the reason for this post was to suggest that you may want to watch that show. I like PBS, watch it often, and have come to trust most of what I see there. That's all folks.

I like most of the programming too.
Just don't care for the corporate commercials, to mention a name of a donor is more than enough for most.
