BE4U - I thought the natural gas was underground in shale not cowpies! I always learn something on this site...
Seems like most agree that "Cap and Trade" is a diversion, revenue source, and overall waste of time as far as protecting the environment. We improved vehicle emissions and we can improve other pollution sources without destroying the economy.
I realize that humans have damaged the ozone layer contributing to less sunlight filtering and somewhat higher temperatures. But I agree with Moons that ultimately nature will repair itself. I live on a glacially carved lake in upstate NY even though we haven't had a glacier here probably for millions of years. No human pollution involved in the process. Glaciers melt, they move, they disappear. Tjhe good news is polar bears can live in a forest. They don't need ice and snow to survive.
