I just make pies. My sister always does the bird. And, I always end up making the gravy, with her stock. I'm wondering if she gets her bird where I want to get Ouma'a Pride. She's always bragging about her butcher, lol Her DH is allergic to eggs so she always makes the stuffing, too, so he won't die by accident and can enjoy his meal.
What is getting me, is the advertisers are full tilt into Christmas already! Seem's like they would just as soon skip on by Thanksgiving, too! I forgot about Beau.. we'll be gone a while, maybe we'll bring him. Only thing is, I don't think he likes car rides all of a sudden. Started whining on the way to the vets the other day and it is only a few miles away.

About the Christmas thing, I've noticed that too and was having the same thoughts. I saw on the Hallmark channel where they have already started their Christmas movie marathon..............
Speaking of dogs and cars....that silly Mauli has logged in many many hours in cars. When I get ready to go somewhere you have to watch her cause she will slip out cause she wants to go. But yet she whines all the way to whereever we are going and then all the way back. I love to take her places cause she is so good when we get there. BUT....................Also she liked my truck. Well when I got the car she really started up--now anyone with any sense would prefer to ride in a caddy over a beatup gmc truck--IMO anyway...................
