   I am very sorry, Tina.  It is really hard when our "babies" are so seriously ill or injured.   I hope for the best!!

animules, i hope your ned pulls thru this. my last kittie was 22 when he died. we still look for him at times. haven't had a cat since and miss that. good luck to ned.

Thank you all so very  much for your kind words and prayers.  

Some better news.  The tests are not coming back renal failure.  Hurray!!!!  The other things are hyper-thyroid, lymphoma, or something else….  It sounds like most are treatable with medication so he gets to come home tonight.    Some other tests may be needed later if he continues to decline but Doc said lets treat and see if that helps first, the other tests are multi-hundred each and she didn’t want to push those right away, not that I wouldn't have said go for it.  I was so worried, the last time I had an animal decline that fast was last January when my young mule dropped weight that fast and died suddenly from a heart murmer.   So when Ned dropped 5 pounds in a week I panicked.  It will be so nice to have him home.
