Different ppl have different opinion some ppl think more refine top transmit the power from back to front more efficiantely . Some ppl thinks long upperarm can cover the more ground n show more reach but some thinks upperarm longer then shoulder a cause of elbow loseness or dysplastic these thing come s n goes so the result s ppl or breeder adopts only that things wch r good for breed n useless things automatically vanished. All saw the era of herr Mebler he promotes rikkor quartz n discourage jeck lines but ursus came becoz he had potential n v allsaw now where s herr Mebler promoted lines almost vanished . So plz give time to herr Meyer also to prove himself he s doing wt he thinks right for breed n sport in last years he successfully control the size he incourage those dogs who have lot of temperament n he s elected Breed wardon n he have right to do wt he thinks n ppl of gsd in germany have full confidence that's y he s there as a Zucht wardon n v all know it for all 3 phases the first thing s temprament n herr Meyer s so strict on it . Don't worry n just see wt he s doing.

There is a saying, "DO NOT FOOL WITH MOTHER NATURE", I am of the opinion there is a very good reason for this quote. If you mess with her she will bite you in the arse. If you look at show dogs thourought history, the breeders and judges can not help themselves they mess with the structure/look of the dogs, there is always a consquence. Makes me very sad to see, the ones that get hurt are the dogs. Nature will make the changes as needed. It would be so nice if they would just concentrate on the health of the breed.

Without some "fooling" with Mother Nature, we'd all own dingos or some feral derivative thereof.
