Jim,

I think it is ashame that you won't post on Hans' forum b/c she is on there.  You provide a lot of good information that is helpful to everyone, including myself.   While I don't agree with it and wish you would reconsider, I respect it.

With regards to Hans not banning her.  I cannot speak for him and can only assume what he would think.  I do spend a lot of time with him at his house talking about dogs, life, politics and everything else as he is only a hour from me.  Beetree is correct in that Hans absolutely despises censorship.  Coming from a communist country and all the restrictions and rules over there he has no tolerance for it.  The main reason he started his own board was b/c of the censorship that was going on here at PDB.  Threads being deleted...etc.  I respect in that instead of coming on PDB and complaining about things 24/7 and stuff he said F it and started his own forum.

With regards to free speech, yes we ALL have free speech and can say whatever we want despite how hurtful, ignorant, racist or silly those words maybe.  Last time I checked, Janet didn't say ANYTHING about abusing dogs, etc on Hans' forum.  If she did, Im sure it would have been pointed out and dealt with swiftly.  She hasn't posted anything on his site that would make her be banned and if he did so, it would be for only 2 reasons; (1) he just wanted too or (2) he succombed to peer pressure from others.

What Janet did was horrible, cruel and there is no excuse for it.  I also think that 50 million threads about her and stuff is a lil tired as well.  I think people REALLY need to move on as there are other things to talk about it.  If you feel that you need to continue to discuss Janet then start a webpage about her with a forum where you can continue to talk about her and her deeds.  I think though better time would be spent on the other people who abuse dogs and they get no attention.  Janet ain't the only person doing acts like this.  If you feel so against these acts then do something positive and help find others who do these same acts.  There are doigs who are suffering right now who need your attention and help.

And SP....LF doesn't follow me around, I follow her around.

Ace,
First, there are people involved in saving Janice's dogs and other dogs as well.  VM has been very instrumental in this cause.

Second, I understand the whole freedom of speech and the "communist" argument.  However, what janice has done to these dogs and her mother is cruel and horrific.  Her owning dogs is condemming those dogs to a K-9 concentration camp, she is a sick person and will never change.  How many convictions do we need, how many dogs have to die before we all realize this?  To spend one second discussing dogs with her is despicable.  If you know who she is and do nothing about it is wrong and disgraceful, IMO.

Third, there will never be enough threads about people who abuse animals and continue to do so.  The public needs to be educated and reminded so they never buy a dog from her and she is never allowed to own any animals again.

I can not in good conscience go back on his foum and post.  For me to go there would be enabling Janice and very hypocritical.  I know you like Hans and that is great, I liked him too.  But, I have my own morals and ethics and it disturbs me to much to participate in a forum that allows that.

JMO FWIW,

Jim

I've got to go with Jim on this.

Jim,

I certainly understand your point and respect it.  Yes VM did a great job of pointing it out and trying to get people to understand what has been going on.  I think now the focus should be concentrated on the next Janet that is out there.  Yes, the public should be aware but not many of the "public" come to PDB.  I think 50 million threads about one woman really doesn't do much IMO.  I think taking a active role is focusing on animal abuse and and pointing out people everywhere does.  Gotten to the point where beating a dead horse.

I think there are peoples views on THIS forum that are dispicable and ugly but I just choose to ignore them.  Again my way of handling it.  We all handle things differently.  I certainly understand your viewpoint and have no issue with you handling it your way.

It's a mistake to talk about constitutional rights on an international board. It's also a mistake for ex-pats from communist countries to say (rebounding from communism in Czech) that now they are in democratic countries, they should have the open ended right to say anything they want. More options than just the extremes are possible. Here in the US, we have a little more experience with free speech than in Eastern Bloc countries, and we know it's ok to speak freely as long as doing so doesn't instigate violence. Neighbors are not allowed to scream at each other all day every day except on the Maury Povich show. Eventually Czech-land will realize in its relatively newfound democracy that freedom can never be open ended. Heck, maybe Hans will realize that thru his board. In the meantime, it's my opinion that it's stupid to let criminals right back into their comfort zone; it's a little like having a recovering alcoholic bartending in a dive, or having a child molester as a school janitor. Go ahead, test Janice's ability to act like a normal person; but remember that deep down she is a horrible filthy person whose opinions about dogs (and her mother's wrinkly red ass, as she publicly called it) are NOT VALUABLE.

@ Ace: my goal is to make her name come up as a negative every time anybody googles her about a dog. I sincerely doubt that more than a couple hundred people in the whole world really know what she is about. But suppose a puppy buyer tries to check (hehehehe Jackie made a pun) her dogs out? They will find PAGES of evidence about about the kind of lying skank she is.

"be concentrated on the next Janet that is out there"

Janet?  Yikes!  I think you mean Janice.

I agree with VM.  It is dangerous having her on any dog board, because she will fool someone, someday into giving her more dogs.
Is there any chance Han's doesn't know she is on there?  Maybe he will check in here and explain.

I am sure she is on probation awaiting trial. If someone is near there they can contact the probation dept, officer and let him know I am sure she is barred from owning dogs or having anything to do with them and this can include conversations on a board. They can stipulate it and  doing so would violate her probation. I have done things just like this when I was a parole officer, you can stop them from having any contacts like she is.

How is ti a mistake?  Being that it is a international board we should talk about it.  Gives us a chance to really see the differences that we all have.  There are plenty of group here in the U.S that speek freely and promote violence. KKK, skinheads, religious zealots and others have rallies ALL the time promoting their filth and are protected by the constitution and police to do so.  So to say here in the U.S. that we know how to speak freely and no insitigate violence is crazy.  We here in the U.S. are relaly no better than other countries. Our dirty laundry is just as bad as other places....again whether you really notice or see it depends on if your affected by it. It all depends on if you are directly affected/on the receiving end of what they are saying.

I think everyone feels like they can stop Janice/Janet or whatever her name is from doing stuff and Im just more realistic and saying...no you really can't.  Criminals will always find a way back in their comfort zone in one way or another especially if they refuse to change like Janice.  Nothing you do can stop that.  Since I can't control it, I serioously don't worry about it.

I seriously don't condone anything and hope the law punishes her for it all.  At the sametime I don't lose sleep over it either.  I guess I have seen and heard of people getting away with crimes against other people that I am unphased by peoples actions anymore.  Nothing really shocks me anymore.  At the end of the day they still can do things and it is up to me to either watch or turn away.

Well, it's a mistake because, believe it or not, only Americans are held to the US Constitution, that's why. LOL I have no problem with discourse, unless I am forced to listen to morons or Glen Beck.

PS. No, I am not so dumb as to think I can change Janice Bartmess. But by golly, I do dearly love to make her uncomfortable.
