Saw the first one. I thought the story was weak, but where the film fell short in plot, it seemed to make up for in communicating theme, IMO. You could make an argument in favor of sensationalism, but really, close examination reveals just how plausible those themes are, and we are actually confronted with the potential mechanisms each day whether we recognize it, or choose to ignore it.

Edited.... got the strangest message from YouTube! So I edited out the vid I posted.... Said they had a team of highly trained monkeys working on the error! LOL I figured some of the tribe here has been busy! hahaha
None of your kids read the books? My eldest loved them. I have thought I might, too. The book is always better! I recently saw the the first movie, too.
i do love the new soundtrack for the new one! And Katniss is an awesome strong woman child character. Coming of age in such a world. I do look forward to the new movie and hope she really let's loose some arrows!
