Elsa is a littermate (E litter) to my female, Lujza (Ebony von Wally) who we lost to DCM at age five. Lujza was diagnosed at 3.5 years of age. We have contacted the breeder to share the necropsy results on this wonderful dog, but the breeder has told us she will not share the information with owners of fellow littermates. I am sharing for one reason: early diagnosis of Lujza's disease permitted us to aggresively treat the DCM with medications which gave us an additional year and a half of life with her. Sadly, Sergio (S litter, same kennel) is also fighting hard against DCM.
