Ashley Cole: I hate England and all the people in it

Ashley Cole has got himself in trouble with his mobile phone again - this time apparently insulting all his fellow countrymen with an abusive message saying he 'hates England and the f***ing people'.

However, an alleged outburst via a mobile phone message looks likely to turn public opinion against him again after he hit out at the very fans who spent thousands following the team to South Africa to support him and his England team-mates.

Shortly before leaving for the tournament, Cole is said to have posted a status message to his online friends which read: 'I hate England and the f***ing people!'

And after returning from the World Cup following the 4-1 defeat by Germany in the last-16, Cole - who has been in the public eye recently following his split from X Factor judge and pop star Cheryl Cole - told the Sun: 'The intrusion and pressure I feel is making my life hell.'

Oh Dear what a shame for Ashley Cole, He sounds like a big Baby

I think the Germans will be VA1 in this World Cup 2010. They squashed Argentina 4-0 very easily.

I'll be bold and say, it will be Holland vs Germany   It has to be!!!!

Originally I thought the Finals will be between Brazil vs Argentina (which would have been exciting as well) but as the South American big players have been knocked out, the Cup await the Europeans

Steve & Posiden- I postponed replying till the I the result between the Span & Paraguay. Now I can say do not ever drop the Spanish team from your calculations , they are really lucky.

The Dutch was a definate surprise to beat Brazil but they deserve every drop of sweat achieving their victory.  At this late stage of the game in the Quarter finals, very little is base on luck.  The refereeing so far has exposed their major flaws without the intervene of modern technology in some vital decision making (perhaps some might argue that's where the game becomes more exciting).  The team that recovers especially after a favour has been made against them, is the one that plays with true spirit and determination which is a real joy to watch.

Germany is in full gear now and I can see them taking the trophy home.  The main thing I hope that it will be a great Final to watch and may the best team wins.  (Fingers crossed for my favourite).
