All Joking aside, If everyone on here had to include there Full name and Address, How many of you would post on here, I would guess there would be a lot less than there is Now, Why' i do not know but i bet i am correct, Some people will be scared to give out that info again i do not know why they should
Me'  i am all for that and definite proof of name and address, then if anyone has a gripe against anyone they can sort it out the right way and that is meaning any defamatory Posts Thats the way it should be up front, That would stop all this rubbish which has gone on of late and we could then get back to the true meaning of the Forum

Steve I am a member of 2 boards that require you post under your real name, I wouldn't have a problem with it either.

I agree with Steve1. I also a memeber of 2 other boards that require that and I have no problem..  One of them even does alittle checking to see if you are legit. Bet that would eliminate alot on here. You'd be surprise which ones too....

Steve, I don't agree with providing full name and address.  "We" (the public) are advised to NEVER use full name nor any identifying information on sites such as "chat rooms" etc.   While I agree it would definitely cut out the abuse (or one would think so), it could result in identity theft and actually destroy a person's life -- wipe them out financially and emotionally in trying to sort it all out.

Oli has the necessary information to put a stop to these antics.   The ball is in his Court.

I think we should all be forced to use real names and I disagree with what Maggie says. Pretty hard to steal someones identity with just their name. You would also need other info. to pull it off so I disagree a lot of forums require real names so if what she just posted is true then all those forums members would be getting their identities stolen. Anyone who is a member of any forum that does require real names has any member ever had his identity stolen? We tell little kids not to divulge info for the obvious reasons so unless you are a child then what is the big deal not like you are being identified by your social security number. That is a troll excuse. I would be the first to sign up.

How many folks on here who use their real names have had their identity stolen? So anyone claiming that has other reasons to not use real names.
