Given the humour and intent of this thread was lost on some, the real question is.... why do some people breed at all? They're sure not bettering the human breed, LOL!

The short and quick answer is $.

Even $500 per pup in an 8 pup litter = $4000 bucks. You have people here who would sell their wife for that kind of money. They could give a s**t less what becomes of the pups.

Rik -- you are sooooooo Dense. This is a "tongue-in-cheek" thread. LDD has told you that a couple of times and you still don't get it !!!

You sound like a broken record -- "have how you bettered the breed" -- "prove it" -- "give your credentials" -- good lord, give it a rest ! Just because you went to some show w/your dogs doesn't mean you have done anything to better the Breed. Frankly, I don't care WHAT you do; you are so annoying.

Sorry Maggie, as long as there are fakers out there like you who continue to post like authorities on the GSD, I can't rest.

Come on, give us a hint of your accomplishments.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a pet owner. Just don't don't try to be a breeder or an expert on the GSD.. And my gosh, buying from a breeder who has dogs with worthless titles. Please explain that.

Rik -- You are so full of it........I'm not a Breeder and don't intend to ever be a Breeder. I also have never claimed that I am an expert on GSD's -- that is some "crap" that you keep spewing. My GSD is a PET -- period !! My Breeder is very honest -- tells it "like it is." He also advised me who I should "watch out for - steer clear of" if I ever decide to Show my dog. Now leave me alone !!
