Then what about his temperament problem? We are expecting a show dog who had been trained to be well socialised, outgoing, confident and harmonious.

by vom Hause Nadja on 13 August 2010 - 14:08

you is not tell me, how he is now? with other people? With other dogs in your kennel? Do he go to trainer? he want run? he stay in standing pose?

too, Alex, do you think he can go to show, if he not want run and stay in standing pose?

by Alexgsd11 on 13 August 2010 - 14:08

now it is the high time to give him confident but not like what you said, training, running posting. you must understand we have to gain full trust from him first before i can proceed further. He shows warning eye contact when there is a stranger standing in front of him now. He should be fully show trained and its not my duty to train him now to show since he was a v1 dog. Just like i buy GSD from germany for those who had been shown in sieger and they are so well trained with fantastic temperatment.

by Alexgsd11 on 13 August 2010 - 15:08

why dont you ask your agent to fly here to check at his temperatment. He is not very far from me and i do not want cheat anyone. you may feel that my complaint is not sincere. but your agent is a gsd guy, he knows dog.

by sashawaldorf on 13 August 2010 - 15:08

donkeykong, i do agree with you the picture seems a little fishy. looks like 2 different dogs but somehow if you keep looking, there's a tiny resemblence, hard to tell.

natasa, i think alex understands that the curled tail isnt a big matter but he's just presenting the tail matter in his opinion, and it's simple, he doesnt like it. he's just concerned about the dog's temperament and is concerned if he'll be able to show the dog under him since he has trust issues as you mentioned , right?

Alex, take it easy.

by Alexgsd11 on 13 August 2010 - 15:08

should know daniel onul from romania, you can check with him have i ever complaint about his dog????? we love Mephisto so much and even i can trust him with my baby. Do you know what is a good dog? Good dog must have good temperatment and why you have schh or ipo in Europe? what is the breed survey for????????????

by Alexgsd11 on 13 August 2010 - 16:08

sash, you are right. i did ask some all breed judge and will they take the hook tail into consideration, they said yes.so a dog show is a beauty contest. if the dog have a ugly tail why should the judge condider him if there is another same standard dog in the ring right? I mentioned earlier show dog must have confident, good conformation and etc. I always take thing very easy as this is a hobby and i love dogs.

by vom Hause Nadja on 13 August 2010 - 16:08

Alexs, please, you told right informations: dog havent crash tail
he only in relax pose make this, when work, stay in ring pose, run...his tail is not this.

by sashawaldorf on 13 August 2010 - 16:08

Hi again Alex, yes it is in fact true about in the show ring. But the curled tail is really up to the owner's own opinion, if they dont mind a dog with a curled tail then so be it, but they do mind then of course, its a problem. I also have been keeping, breeding and showing rotties and i am for one against curled tail, but again, it's my own decision and opinion so that i wouldnt offend anybody who likes a curled tail rottie. Are you a gsd breeder as well? As you've brought up gsds in your previous post.

by vom Hause Nadja on 13 August 2010 - 16:08

if in ring, dog with nice head, black eyes, black pigment, good movement, excellent standin pose???????
What will judge tell?????

This dog when stay in relax pose, have ...what????
What he have in ring for show?????????????????????

do he have any faults in head? in body, in movement???????
