You are not going to get your identity stolen by putting your name here. Like I said my name is all over the net and no one has used it to get anything but in touch with me.

You actually need a social security number to do real damage and I am assumming your name is not 111-111-1111 so you are safe to use it.

You are confused because little kids are told not to give out names but a lot of forums require real names and you want to know why cause when people who use there real names are less likely to cause problems or breeder bash or any of the other problems we have here. It is coming cause of things like the record holding thread it is going to effect her business and when it does I hope like hell she pushes a suit against this site and all others who said the things they did.

His employer could not do a thing it is called the first admendment unless he was on work time but again some places will allow some computer leeway.

If Jim was on here as a spokesmen or whatever for his department yes then maybe but free time good luck with that.

Here is the whole point Maggie yes there names are known but the people doing 90% of the posts there names are not known but they can line up and take a free shot at know people. Really Maggie think about what you just typed.

Now if I were Jim Slamdunc, then there would be something to worry about because it could possibly affect his career if his "less than polite posts" became known to his Employer.

Maggie, as I said I have posted my name and phone number, who I am is no secret.  Are you planning on calling someone elses employer, again?  I could care less if you call mine.  I'm sure you have nothing better to do.

I doubt highly that they would consider this a problem after all he never posted where he works. I think the first admendment holds. He is not here bashing his department he is here with an opinion so I say nothing would come of it at all. They probably would not even listen to you as you would not want to leave your contact info or name. Now would you.
