Yr, I am so sorry for your neighbor. We have been having our elderly follwed home from the grocery stores. they seam to be looking for the ones wtih lots of jewerly on and the type of car driven. I have tried to talk to my MOM and get her to quit wearing the stuff. Pretty bad, we all have dogs and a few of us PP and we need guns!

FOr the last week every noise un nerves me, the lights went off for 10 minutes the night after I found out about her murder, and you would have thought the end of the world came...and went...I immed got off phone with my daughter and grabbed my 38, and made sure my flash light was in hand and lit candles .. opened door and let out Laredo and went to back porch and brought Abby inside house...two cocker spaniels started barking and I almost lost it....I believe I have aged and I may be chasing my tail in a week or so if these things keep happening.

One neighbor accross the street who is 82 and a widow was her best friend  is having her family members stay with her.

This is the second murder in this neighborhood..  Mrs. Britts neightbor to the south of us    Clover Willis went to her business one night and was murdered. She owned a car wash with hubby and found her in the cash room where you collect the money .  Never solved that case either...

As of this week my sable bitch will be left out at night.  If a bob cat gets her , I have 3  more , excluding Abby and Pepsii.

My place is lit up .like an airforce base but main problem is that every crook or alien knows no law in 40 miles. as I live in the north part of the county and we have no patrol and it takes 1 hour to get here unless they are conveniently on call .

will link the story and video...you will see how nice the neighborhood is but!   That means nothing in todays world.

Well that story certainly won't help me fall asleep. Seems like you're not even safe out in the country any more :-(

I just let Jena out to pee and she started mean- barking. I called her inside and she came back with her hackles up. She has never been a mean barker... I hope it was a neighborhood cat.

To bad all of the dogs can not get along well enough to let them all lose at night. YR, I honestly think you need more than 1 dog lose outside. Along with more than one in the house. Are the Kennels on any type of sensor lighting, so if someone comes up to them, they light up? This breaks my heart I can not stand for someone to be afraid.

When things go bump in the night, simply fire a round into a convenient target.

Well, I'm awake

Okay, it's 2:30 and I'm wide awake.  I have a long work day ahead tomorrow and I'll be dragging once again.  I had to gripe so it was time to drag this thread out again.  Bad day today, grass was too long, haven't had time to cut it.  I think my neighbor across the street was a bit peeved, he barely said "Hi" yesterday.  So, in the heat of the day I attempted to get it cut and my weed whacker broke as I started on the terrace.  I almost threw it, but held on.  Then I had an appointment cancel so I went to my other job instead.  Equipment wasn't working so couldn't finish.  Came home, packed up for another appointment and they were late.  Went to my daughter's and got into an argument with her BF about banking fees!  How stupid is that?  Then they argued because she said he was being arrogant.  He slammed the door and she got "that look" on her face.  You know, the one that says he'll be out the door tomorrow?  I'm hoping not, I really like this one (even though we disagree about banking fees) and was sure he'd soon be part of the family.  Can a day get much worse (with the exception of death and destruction)?

Anyway, since I'm not sleeping yet, I'm guessing tomorrow won't be much better!
