Red Sable, Wonderful! Please keep us updated. Do you know if his elbows have been x-rayed or not?
tuffscufflek9, Please ask. I am sure someone here can answer your questions.
Elkoorr, As for the grooming upkeep on the long coats, it depends on the coat. My female GSD is a breeze, no more than a standard coat. My male Shiloh has a very thick coat (more coarse than my female GSD) and tends to get knotted on the backs of his legs and belly area if not brushed at least three to four times a week. Neither one shed (except for the normal spring and fall), but they are fed raw. BTW, beautiful dog in the photo. I love his expression and coloring.
