Uglydog, there were several epidemological studies done that showed NO relationship between autism and thimersol. The studies looked at rates both before and after the chemical was removed from vaccines.

We need to look elsewhere to find the cause. The children affected by vaccines show evidence of brain damage, and it could be that an immune system constantly overstimulated by vaccines is attacking the nervous system. There are a number of autoimmune related disorders in which this happens (Guilliame-Barre, multiple sclerosis, etc.)

The Department of Defense classifies mercury as a hazardous material that could cause death if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin.
Studies indicate that mercury tends to accumulate in the brains of primates and other animals after they are injected with vaccines. Mercury poisoning has been linked to cardiovascular disease, autism, seizures, mental retardation, hyperactivity, dyslexia and many other nervous system conditions. That's why the FDA rigorously limits exposure to mercury in foods and drugs. Some common sources of mercury include dental amalgam fillings, various vaccines and certain fish contaminated by polluted ocean waters.

The toxicity of mercury has never been in question. The real question is precisely how much mercury-laced thimerosal is toxic, and what are the possible consequences for our children at low doses?

Eli Lilly and Co. supposedly answered this question for us back in 1930. Concluding thimerosal to be of "a very low order of toxicity . . . for man," the company hired its own doctors to perform thimerosal experiments in Indianapolis City Hospital on meningitis patients during a severe outbreak in 1929. This 60-year-old evidence was still quoted on the company's brochures as recently as 1990.
Andrew Waters, who is involved in a lawsuit against Eli Lilly, claims that most critical studies on the toxicity of thimerosal were Suppressed by the company until now.'


According to Tom Verstraeten, an epidemiologist who had analyzed the data on the CDC's database, thimerosal appeared to be responsible for a dramatic increase in autism and other neurological disorders.
Verstraeten told those at the meeting that a number of earlier studies indicate a link between thimerosal and speech delays, attention-deficit disorder, hyperactivity and autism.'

Uglydog, the studies the program referred to were done in Denmark and Japan. I don't have time to Google them, but it sounded like they were well done, professional studies.

Denmark especially has a medical database that would make most researchers green with envy

The head of the CDC went to work for Merck in a multi billion dollar division,  and others on their board are former CDC Officials, some hold major shares and patents for future vaccines.
Government and Big Business mixing studies together are CRAP.

In 2002, the day after Frist quietly slipped a rider known as the "Eli Lilly Protection Act" into a homeland security bill, the company contributed $10,000 to his campaign and bought 5,000 copies of his book on bioterrorism.
Congress repealed the measure in 2003 -- but earlier this year, Frist slipped another provision into an anti-terrorism bill that would deny compensation to children suffering from vaccine-related brain disorders. "The lawsuits are of such magnitude that they could put vaccine producers out of business and limit our capacity to deal with a biological attack by terrorists," says Andy Olsen, a legislative assistant to Frist. Now i do not know and i may well be thinking wrongly, But you Guys should know more than i do. Uglydog says it is due to more vaccines, Could it be that the Amish People live a less stressful life than the rest of the Folk in the USA
Do they Drink and Smoke and do they have the same Vices that us ordinary people have
If the answer is Yes, they are different in the way they live Eat, Drink and use less vaccinations then that may well be part of the problem and then perhaps we should follow there example

Drinking and Smoking doesnt cause neological autism. That isnt in question.
What is IN question, are vaccinations.
The Amish immunities are likely not much better than ours. Human DNA is the same.

But I agree that organic food, healthy vegetables and fruits, and WHOLE Milk are also important. And No vaccines for children

All large Catholic traditional familes i know that dont vaccine have no autsim. 
Those families that I know that did vaccinate, have issues, in families larger than 4.   There is a correlation.


 

Former Head of CDC Lands Lucrative Job as President of Merck Vaccine Division

Dr. Bernier, pg. 113: "We have asked you to keep this information confidential. We do have a plan for discussing these data at the upcoming meeting of the Advisory Committee of Immunization Practices on June 21 and June 22. At that time CDC plans to make a public release of this information

Dr. Keller, pgs. 116 & 118: "…we know the developing neurologic system is more sensitive than one that is fully developed…"

Dr. Verstraeten, pg. 165: "Personally, I have three hypotheses. My first hypothesis is it is parental bias. The children that are more likely to be vaccinated are more likely to be picked and diagnosed. Second hypothesis, I don't know. There is a bias that I have not recognized, and nobody has yet told me about it. Third hypothesis. It's true, it's Thimerosal. Those are my hypotheses."
