I am so sorry to hear about your litter. I know how disappointing it can be just to loose 1 or 2 from a litter but to have nothing after having such great expectations would be devastating. My thoughts are with you.

I am sorry to hear that as well.  Did the vet to an Ultra Sound on her.  It sounds to me that he or she should have caught that. Especialy since she was having problems.  I am glad that mom is ok.  How is she doing?  Does she seam like she notices anything about the pupplies not being there?   Hopefully, if she is going to have another litter, maybe you should try another vet.  I don't think I would go back to the same one.   Take Care

I'm  glad your bitch is doing well, sorry you lost the litter.  Could your vet tell you why that happened?

The vet had just seen her that week   odd  to me...Vet should have said   bring her in ....when he called and told the vet the temp dropped...He had just done an exray the week before.
I would change vets for the next litter.

Sorry you went thru that...next time you will have more experience and know to take her in the minute the temp drops...
Glad Mamma dog is fine and she will be ok....build her immunities up and get her in shape for the next litter..

So sorry for your loss!  I was hoping no news was good news...

Very sorry for your lose Germlover.  Curious, how many pups were there?  I've heard that when there is only 1 or 2, a C-section is often needed because they aren't enough (hormonally) to stimulate the mother to contract, AND because they tend to be much bigger than your normal pups and they are more difficult or impossible to get through the birth canal.  I'm glad your female is doing fine now.
