Mine must stay in the family room when we eat, but we have a distinct line between the family room & our EIK (eat-in-kitchen) created by the edge of the carpet in the family room. They line up there, & watch us. They'll inch closer when they think we're not looking, & if we turn our heads & look at them with disapproval for this tactic, they look away, or over their shoulders like there's something in the family room that's interesting. Except for Li' Bit. She watches TV. She's absolutely confident she'll get some, when it's her turn.
It's all I can do, sometimes, to keep from laughing at them, & I hate to laugh at them when they're making such an effort to look pitiful & worthy!
On another note, I just received an e-mail soliciting an opinion from me against another forum member, about a matter of which I know nothing. I was invited to a web-site which was very attractive, but seemed to have no purpose but to collect negative statements about this person. I do not know this person, I know nothing about this situation, & I am not about to respond to it, one way or another. And furthermore, I resent the use of my private e-mail address being used for solicitations of any nature. If your cause is worthy, you will make no friends for it by hi-jacking persons private e-mail addresses. And, if you continue to do so, I will report you to what authority is available to me.
I do not approve of animal abuse, but I also, as I believe I have very recently stated, DO believe in a person's right to privacy. Further e-mails of this nature will be delegated to the spam filter.

And it's hardly disgust, usually I'm trying my damnedest not to laugh!
OK----I'll hazard a guess. They're waiting for me to lose my composure, & laugh, spewing whatever I'm eating out onto the floor for them to devour????

I recieved numerous emails of the same nature, and was also provided a link to another website also..I didn't go to the website so I can't say what it was about.....
However, I'm with you on that....
