Oh the drama... I just don't believe someones dogs can be taken when they are providing a high standard of care and are totally innocent, like it's all some conspiracy theory against them, the ball was dropped somewhere.  why can't people just admit they fucked up and take responsibility.

That's fine, Doberdoodle. Everyone who believes this needs to immediately "man up" and send a scan of their driver's license, so we know who they are and where they live. As the saying goes, "If you've got nothing to hide, why would you object"?

You are all happy to park my shit all over the curb, because you are cowards, basically. Cowards and hypocrites. The address that some people were posting, has long since been occupied by someone else, who would have every right to sue if a false report was made. That would or should be a matter of public record. Maybe I cannot do it, but I'm sure that guy could use the money if he is being harrassed.

SP, I am doing my own intervention. I have finally, finally, finally found suitable homes for a couple dogs I got dumped on me by a certain little man who really sucked me in, years ago. Another is in process. I know better than to get stuck with too many dogs, now. I can't afford it, there's no point in it, etc. I was always happiest with one or two dogs. But, dogs are like tarbabies.. They tend to stick. I try very hard not to dump a dog, and I don't believe in putting them to sleep if there is another solution, but sometimes you have to be a pragmatist.

I think I AM a pragmatist, to some degree..

Schaferhunden aka LaPorte aka Rob aka John was asking me why I gave instructions on how to hang a dog. Well, first off, that's my right to express my opinion. Free speech. It was not intended to be a "how to" manual, and I would definitely say, "Do not do this, yourself"! But, I think it is appropriate to let people know that there ARE a few dogs out there.. a small percentage of a percentage, which can "throw back" to wolf like social behaviors, or other extreme behaviors which would make them dangerous / unsuitable as pets. They are like perenial weeds. They're going to pop up from time to time, and there's nothing anyone can do to completely eliminate them from the gene pool. However, recognizing the behaviors and NOT doing as I was told to do by Adam Kuhn ("Maybe if you are nice to him..."). Yeah.. I was nice to him, alright. I tried to pet him, and got the ass kicking of my life! The thing is, Ufo vom Fiemereck had done it to others, before.. several others, and all men. Some went to the hospital.. for reconstructive surgery! Now, if you want to join the group that believes that doggies are all sweet, ancient, wise and loving souls who would NEVER intentionally hurt anyone, EVER, then you are delusional, and you need to know something.. While these cases are very rare (very, VERY rare), it can happen, and when / if it does, you'd better be able to deal with it.

So, maybe Schaferhunden would rather that the story is NOT posted, and would rather see the occasional news story about people having their arms chewed off, or their faces, or killed.

If Schaferhunden really thinks it is so aweful to post "instructions" on how to throttle a dog, then he should not be posting it repeatedly, so that it appears again and again.

I was highly offended by an article in Verve magazine by Professor Peter Singer (arch guru / saint of the animal rights movement, whose parents just HAPPENED to be card carrying communists) basically giving the OK to bestiality, complete with very lurid descriptions of how to bugger a chicken, finishing by cutting it's head off. Yes, I thought that was incredibly irresponsible to print such a thing, knowing that someone out there is likely to try it. But, that's another story.

 I thought this was a thread on ear infections.  I'm trying to get information and I see that people on here are posting about a recent suicide?  

 Oh by the way.  Did the guy who committed suicide have an ear infection?

Go back to raising your birds... something more your suited to your limited talents. Others have been down this path, before. You think you will do better. LOL Some people have to find out the hard way. Knock yourself out!
