NoCurs, what kind of dogs do you have?

My little girl decided to go tracking in the middle of her BH, we did not know it at the time but after all the dogs were done and by the way only 3 passed out of 8, we found that someone had gone and dropped hot dogs on the field.  I was so upset, oh well have to try again.

I fell asleep the other night before putting Axel in his crate and he was into everything.  Laying there in the middle of all of the stuff he got out when I woke up looking at me and wagging his tail.  So seriously...what was he planning to do with my change jar?  I suspect if he had found my keys I would have had double down wrappers all over the floor as well!

I have one GSD, Carly.  She was 4 in March.
We have 3 Poms.  Emma and Teddy are littermates, going to be 9 in August.
Squirt is Emma's pup.  She will be 6 in Nov.

My third edition i was to pick up this Friday -Saturday but i have had to cancel going until the next weekend to pick her up
However the Breeder has had to part the two Sisters away from each other, they are Fighting he said 8 weeks old and going at it hammer and Tongs, he was hoping they were gone this weekend but now has to hold them another week
Methinks i am in for a happy time with this Pup again going by what he said on the Phone this afternoon
He said she should not have been named Gina but Dina short for Dinosaur he said to get the plasters ready in bulk

Moons -- Why are you stopping the Frontline?    Were you using just Frontline or Frontline Plus (I use the Plus).   Do you know how often they need the Lyme Disease vaccine?

---------------

Nona -- Your puppy is going to be a pistol (probably already is - Ha) -- I can just see it in his eyes !

I have 4 GSDs, soon to be 6.
Galan a 3 year old workingline male in training for his BH and SchH I,
Jena 2 year old German showline import who I haven't yet decided what to do with but am thinking of sending her off to be shown since I wrongly assumed that a showline couldn't work when she was a puppy, I never trained her to do anything except basic ob.
Indi is an 8 month old workingline female who is bossy, dominant and loves to track and do bitework. She hates ob, so we are coming up with creative ways to "make learning and obeying fun" hehe
Isolina, aka Lina, turned 5 months old yesterday. She's from workinglines, and with some help from my friends is just now coming out of her insecure stage, which was new to me since my other dogs never barked at strangers or tried to hide behind me... Getting her to focus on me rather than fretting over who was approaching us has been a challenge. But she has been getting better every day.

And finally Judge and Jury. Male and female littermates from workinglines, not due to be born until the end of the month. Their names have to begin with a "J" so I thought it would be appropriate, since I am new to Schutzhund and I am currently training 3 dogs/puppies towards titles and planning on getting two more puppies. I won't go into a detailed explaination here on why I am getting a pair and won't try to "justify" it (yeah bad joke!)
I have heard lots of negative opinions from people who don't know me and my dogs personally, about adding two more puppies when I haven't titled any yet that I have now. So it may take longer for me to reach my goals than if I did it the "right" way, one at a time, but I am learning and loving it every step of the way anyway. So that's how they got their names.

VomRuiz,  seems you like puppies and are setting yourself up for FUN FUN FUN....As long as you are happy with your method, and the route you want to take, don't worry about anyone's idea that you are doing it wrong. As long as you are feeding, training and caring properly for your animals, no one should be trying to tell you, what you should and shouldn't be doing. You should always be open to opinions, but that doesn't mean you have to do as they say...

We must all agree that its okay to disagree sometimes....

Thanks Nona,
After nearly 20 years of raising and rescuing dogs I know what I am getting myself into... FUN, FUN, FUN.. Huge smile on my face reading that LOL I promise not to complain on here too much when I get the pair :-X
The biggest thing for me will be putting quality time into each dog and puppy for training. Feeding, grooming and picking up poop is the easy past, as anyone with a lot of dogs knows already :-) So I am not going to rush through training, I just accept that it will take me longer to earn our titles.
I went to part time at my job when I decided to get Lina so I would have more time for training. So my part time job pretty much pays for my Schutzhund habit ;-)
And to be honest, puppyhood is my least favorite part, give me a five year old any day..It's my favorite age
