You that repeatedly post to, and about, her are actually ensuring that she will continue to post. You are only hurting yourselves with your own behavior. Stop acting like vigilantes. Nuff said about it.

As to her not being banned, Olli himself has come on here and said it is not worth banning anyone as they just come back with another name, of course you might have missed that being new to the forum yourself!!!!
JIM PLEASE RECONSIDER YOU ARE SO NEEDED HERE!!

Excellent idea to post the link to her abuse case every time she posts. I was busy the day before yesterday for most of the day, but I was told that she started a bunch of threads directed at me or w/comments to try to goad me and provoke me into arguing with her....well, they were deleted before I saw any of them. Crying shame. LOL. Ironic she's trying to provoke me now- really, if she hadn't flipped out on me via email and turned nuttier than a shithouse rat, I never would've bothered googling her name, and I never would've known about her. If I'd never known about who she is, I never would've posted what I did in the "There are just way too many" thread. So, by any way you look at it, she did it all HERSELF, and I have no pity for animal abusers. I do have some for the mentally ill, but not when they victimize innocents. Jim's pedophile analogy was right on. I, too, was appalled at the couple posters who were not as appalled as the rest of us. Certainly does change your opinion of them.
Anyway....when I heard that she was throwing my name around in her rants, I thought she must really be getting desperate for attention to keep stirring the pot the way she is. So, if that's what she wants, and she wants it badly enough to post to particular people in hopes of pissing them off badly enough to get to her level, then Jim's solution is absolutely PERFECT. No words, simply a link to Petabuse.com.
Brilliant, Jim.

The bottom line is that the literature suggests that there is nearly 100% recidivism in such cases, and specifically where there is exploitative behavior besides. I strongly suggest that everyone here educate yourself and READ the articles "PsychT" posted. Maybe she will post the link again and if not, I have it. We all need to read about these kinds of situations and realize that the justice system needs help to see that laws are written and enforced to minimize this kind of behavior. The system failed with Bartmess. I suspect in time the system will have a second chance and hopefully will get it right to require treatment and long term monitoring and keeping her away from animals (and possibly humans such as elderly who would also be at risk).
What is notable here, and what Jim and others have pointed out, is that there are a few who have, in fact, de facto, defended this person on this forum. Like other people whose actions and posts are indefensible, they run to the rescue and post BS. They know who they are, and so do many others now who have seen their true lack of ethics or courage. In society, people like this are part of the problem. They are the kind of people who can always find an excuse for not only their behavior, but this kind of behavior. They are the kind of person whose words concerning recent such crimes ring hollow. But they feel the need to post something so we all think they are "nice or sweet" people. They are neither sweet nor nice, just spineless. They contribute nothing to this forum ever. They lack any moral fortitude to tell it like it is even when someone shows them facts of a conviction. They are not outraged and if the rest of us are, they begin to defend the perpetrator. This is exactly why society ends up with "slaps on the wrist" type sentences being imposed for crimes that will end up being repeated. There is ambiguity in society, people who lack fortitude, and this shows up in our legal system. There is and will NEVER be any excuse for what I observed first hand with a dog so covered in feces and urine it was difficult to even clean it up. Treatment, monitoring as in sex offender programs, and prohibition against owning animals ever again are what are necessary to help prevent repeats of their behavior. Everyone knows that treatment cannot even begin until someone is able to acknowledge a problem exists.
Finally, there are those who will use such situations for their own benefit, regardless of the crime. If some of the people who frequent this forum or elsewhere think they can get something out of the situation for themselves, they will. In this case, some think they can get semen from Bartmess, or dogs for breeding, so they will befriend her and take whatever they can get. Anyone who associates with people like this deserves also to be held accountable. They don't give a damn about the crime, nor do they really give a damn about the dogs, just as Bartmess did and does not care. The hollow promotion of "preserving the old DDR bloodlines" is bullshit. It is about money for such people, or in some cases about their sickness. What it

What it clearly is not about are the dogs.

I thought Jim's post was stupid -- very disturbing "thinking" from a Police Officer, especially the analogy of rapists and pedophiles -- it was absurd. Some of you guys/gals think that EVERYONE should RANT as you do about it. Jenni -- don't be manipulated by her -- if you keep answering her, she has you "hooked." Just move on ..........we ALL know what she did to her dogs, and it isn't condoned by ANYONE on this Forum. Just because some Posters haven't "ranted" and "cursed" her does not mean that what she did is condoned.
