A recent trip to my vet brought her views home in a real way for me.
Man and beast alike, if you want to stay healthy, avoid medical professionals and their facilities.
Avoid crowded places.
Be aware.

The Virus you are thinking of with Ducks is the Poultry Virus H5N1, this affects the avian species of bird Chickens Ducks geese etc, not transferable to Horses, Dogs etc, has now been going on world wide for many years, but up to date this last spring especially it was not bad it affects mostly when the birds migrate so possibly itmay turn up again when the big migration starts this autumn
