Not being a smart-ss, but what is the point in the thread....Seems both ads contain the same information, and identify the dog the same way.....

Had a rough night and day so I am probably missing the entire point...Any help would be appreciated...

Well, in one photo he's a roach, in the other he is not. One is not resized properly. Could this be a refresh error or someone trying to be the everything dog to anyone? Maybe that will help with a directional nudge in coming to a point on this thread.

It's not just you being cranky Nona, don't be so hard on yourself!

I don't think it is the same...look at the hair on the underbelly.  On one the black bleeds down to the underbelly and not on the other and the back of the neck is different on each dog.

Just my opinion though.

Doesn't look like the same dog to me.  Vickie is right about the black, also, the dog in the bottom pic has more of a stop, and more rear angulation- at least in those pics.  Sturdier too.

Is this a game? Do we get a prize if we guess right?
I think Vickie is right. I noticed the hair on the first pic but could not tell if the difference was due to the poor pic. Also, to me the muzzle, coat color on the neck and ear shape look slightly different (angle of the head taken into consideration).

Is the OP somehow suggesting the ad owner is being dishonest? If not, then what's the point?  Boredom?

They look the same to me, at least I don't see anything that would jump out at me that they're not.  Coloring, expression, size, angles, etc look the same to me.  Lord knows I could put ny two pics of my dog side by side and no one would believe they were the same if this dog is not the same!  The dog is not stacked the exact same, and his head is turned in one pic, so they are not going to be a carbon copy.  Also do we know when the pics were taken?  A dog is not going to look the exact same if he is a young dog still maturing (2 years vs. 2.5 or 3 years....).  I do not put much weight in the every so slight differences in the neck and belly.  Again these pics could be a year apart.  Also, it's possible one or both photos were re-touched.  It is common to clean up these areas.  I would not be surprised if at least the first photo was re-touched, especially that area on the underline and the neck.
