My normal go home time is 8 weeks but in my last litter I did let one go home at 7 as he went to my trainer who I trust without hesitation.
I know a lot of folks do not vaccinate until 8 weeks but I do it at 6 - I have dealt with rescue/shelter dogs for many years and we alwasy vaccinate at 6 weeks. I use only one brand of vaccine, the first vaccination at 6 weeks does not contain Lepto but from 9 weeks on they do. Having sold a puppy to a family who lost it 3 weeks later to Lepto I now give it as well.
