Yes, he sounds like a serious liability. Unless you're willing to dedicate a great deal of time, money and dedication rehabilitating this dog, you should seriously consider rehoming him with someone qualified, or euthanasia. IF you decide to attempt training, you're going to have to carefully manage this dog. This means he's CRATED(or otherwise isolated) in the presence of guests. He is MUZZLED when in public. He is ALWAYS kept seperated from the bitches (allowing your other dogs to get beat up is NOT okay, irregardless of "why" he's doing it). You must be VERY careful if you decide to keep this dog - if training is successful, consider buying liability insurance "just in case". When choosing a trainer BE VERY CAREFUL. Only go to someone who is experienced with your breed, aggression issues and someone who has NUMEROUS REFERENCES. The dog training industry is not regulated. Anyone can pretend to be a dog trainer and charge money for "services". Before you hand over the cash - be certain the people can actually offer you the type of training you need. If you're comfortable with giving out your location, I'm sure some of our members can refer you to someone who can help.
This is JMO, but if my dog attacked a child he would be put to sleep the same hour.
Good luck.
