The place that I order my heartgard from is in Australia. They are the cheapest place that I have ever found.
Here is the link...
www.petsupplyexpress.com/

As for a wormer, I also use the Safegard that I get at Tractor Supply. The heartgard Plus has a monthly wormer in it. I worm my dogs with the Safegard 2-3 times a year just in case and also to prevent (hopefully) from getting Giardia. So far so good.

Never buy  Ivemec  Plus    be sure to read before you take home....not for dogs at all.

Never use Ivemec  on other dogs. I do not have any experience with any other so do not recommend only what I know.

.I have never used on any dog but  my gsd,,

My cocker spaniels  get  Heart Guard.

The ivomec you can give to any dog except the ones prone to reaction ( Mainly Collies) I have given it to Malis, Labs, Goldens, Goldadores ( Eyes for the Blind breed the two together for working dogs) , hounds and GSD. Like I said, I had one Mali out of 10 that had a reaction and littermates of this one dog do not.

Listen to YR, No Ivomec Plus!!!!!

I use Ivomec 1%,  orally - 0.1 cc per 20 lbs of body weight.
Can someone tell me what dose you use with the Safeguard?

I reciently started using food grade Diatomaceous Earth for any internal parasites.
I also have been using Ivomec1% for heartworms.

Same here. DE in everyone's food, every day. So far, so good. Dogs, horses, cats...fecals have been totally clean, not to mention I love not using a chemical wormer and causing resistance. Resistance CANNOT occur w/DE.

I have been dusting the dogs with it too.... Heard it helps with fleas.
