actually I don't understand why it was deleted either? But sorry if this was against policy,,I will pm the OP with the name/breeder.

Maybe that deletion was just an error by the Mod?  Hopefully whichever one deleted the link will explain why or restore if it was a mistake.

If the dog was tattooed according to USA/SV policies, then the O would indicated the litter letter (the first letter of her name) and the 3 would indicate that she was the 3rd puppy tattooed. If you can see the first few numbers, we can sometimes trace who did the tattoo or who the breeder is.

Tattoo "code"

1st digit (letter): region code
2nd digit (letter): tattooer code
3rd digit (number): last digit of the year
4th and 5th digit (letters): breeder code
6th digit (letter): litter letter
7th digit (number): number in litter

Try to read the tattoo with the black light or rub it with the alcohol and shave the hair. Also you can shine strong flash light through the ear in a completaly dark room. Are you shore that the tatto is black? Maybe it is dark green?

bumping. Would still like to hear why mod deleted the link? Or did I miss something?
