I'm on a Mac, so I just use the native "Grab" app.
It gives you a choice between a shot of a specific window, the whole screen, a selection or a "timed screen" shot.
Its nice because I don't have to trim off the extraneous stuff in the background- I only select what I want to take a shot of.
I use the Paintbrush to mark it up, which is just Apple's version of MS Paint.

I think windows 7 has that same feature but I have XP pro and it is hard to switch as I know XP so well.
I do have a laptop with windows 7 but have never messed with the screenshot program.

I still haven't played with Windows 7 yet.
I miss XP, my old PC had Vista and I hated it.

That is why I still use XP. Vista sucked and any person using it would be wise to upgrade to windows 7.
Windows 7 has a lot of new features. I really have not checked it out competely but did do some playing around with 7.

SP..I have XP....try downloading "Printscreen 2000" you will have options to copy and paste the whole page or select area you want to post..small and simple program...sits on the bottom of your task bar you might have to use art program that comes w/ XP to draw/ type on the screen shot...but for selecting area you want even on "restricted" sites where you cant save their pictures this prog. works great... :)
