angusmom, I have never even thought of that! It is a very interesting idea! I might just give it a try. How much do those usually cost, do you know? Or does it just vary? Right now I'm looking at some really nice ones that are for 200 and plus!

Look forward to hearing from ya mobjack.

Kelli - who is a girl. LOL

This is one of mine Lukas did

Remember Kelli  sent me a copy and it now passes into my computor so it is not as brilliant as it will be on paper and framed.

I believe the third sketch at the top is my Sir Malachi . I cannot find my email that it was sent back to me  but  that is Malachi. Kelli  also did Austin which I am searching for.

No problem! To be completely honest, I'm trying to save as much as I can for a pup I want out of this litter to be my first working dog to start with. Unfortunately I dont think I'll have enough by the time they're ready to go home, but at least we've got some saved up even if I don't get to.

lukasgs, if you do the ACEO size (2.5" x 3.5"), you could easily list for $10 or so. if you charge shipping, keep it low, but make sure you figue roughly what it costs you to ship (envelope, protection of art, postage). Aceos can be mailed for the price of a postage stamp usually. i charge $.50 for US and $1.50 international. the OSWOA size (4" x 6") you could list for at least $15 & up your postage a bit. if you do sell, make sure the art is protected. i use plastic sleeves for my aceos and ziplocks for anything bigger, sandwiched between 2 pieces of poster or cardboard. just don't get too crazy with it or you'll raise your postage rates. the larger pieces, it would be safest to use a tube. i'd put a sheet of tissue on top of the drawing and then roll it. you'd have to find the rate at your post office. i pick up supplies at Big Lots or 99cent store. & i always put in a thank you card & i pick up boxes of those at discount stores like HomeGoods or TJmaxx. you could find cheap ones at a walmart too, i'm sure. just dont spend alot on those - you have to factor in all your expenses (at least roughly). my suggestion would be to look at the sizes of art you'd sell and the type (drawing, painting) and see the median price for the work and the shipping and go from there. if you do list, besides listing under Art Category, list also under Collectible, Dog, German Shepherd (or cat or pointer, etc). that way, you'll reach people who collect GSD items along with art collectors.
if you think of any other questions, just ask. i'm no expert, but i started selling some time back and i enjoy it. i get to paint and i dont have a gazillion pieces of my art all over my house and it helps pay for my own art addiction lol.
