 Felloffher

No, it is not brutal.  It is just the facts.  Everyone knows it.  The person inquired about the breeder.  The breeder is in the USA and does not exhibit in the USA.  She markets to a certain public because of contacts.

It is just what it is.

Everyone knows about it.  So why not say it?

It is used as a marketing advantage.  So, guys buy from Nadelhaus, it is a good bet on a good dog.  It supports the SV family.

Thanks for the info everyone.  I had heard good things, too, but had a friend who purchased a pup, lets see, where do I begin, extreme demadex mange, pup limping at 6 months, severe dysplasia, and lets top that with a deformed pelvis.  Pup also had nasty tempermant, started to exhibit at 4 months.  Ms. Needles unwilling to stand behind the dog at all.

Refused phone calls, then registered mail, really a little scary, purchase then not be able to talk to breeder again.  Was just curious if this was a fluke or not.  My friend reported that the facility was gorgeous, seemed clean and sanitary, however, the pup was covered in fleas, Ms. Needles said just an outbreak, and dipped the pup.

Heard so many good things on the other hand, but know and trust my friend too.

Opinions?

Ansgar Kartheiser (Langenbungert) brings over dogs (such as Sirka Langenbungert--sold to a former friend) from Germany for Traci to market here in the USA). Many of the  dogs he brings to the partnership would generally not be competitive in Germany--due to oversize, etc.).

I have another friend in Northern California whom Traci has owed a replacement for years. Asks some of the vets in Northern California about the health issues of dogs purchased from Nadelhaus.

Traci's relationship with Kartheiser is far from a new practice for a German judge/koermeister to establish a business (as usual?) relationship with a female American breeder (preferably blond and married) who wants to maintain her intimate German and SV connections.

See what you missed out on, Shelley, when you married Leon!!

Yes, Traci has lovely facilities on rental property. I haven't seen her at a breed show since 2001 In Southern California.

If you are trying to suggest that Nadel Haus somehow lacks premanence, you're not doing a very good job of it. I remember what the place was like when they first put the house on it. Nobody invests the kind of money and sweat equity that place has enjoyed (for about 15 years I know of) if they aren't sure they'll be there for a very long, long time.

Yes, Shelley, some things never change.
