Reminds me of a joke ad I saw. It read, "Three cows, never bred and one gay bull for sale"

Take him to the repo vet. I still think he will find nothing. But at least you will know there is nothing phsyically wrong with him. Dan exactly I owned a stud like that showed no interest until he was ready, hell this boy could sleep in the same room with the female and actually sleep but when it was time watch out. Maybe the timing has not been perfect. I would try and get him with the female on more days and for longer periods of time preferably living together but if not more days cause some males believe it or not are picky as to when to tie.
Just my experience with the males I have owned.

Have you tried him with a male? lol Joking but it is common kowledge that every species of mammel has been documentated doing homosexual acts, so maybe he is... now listen your going to have to be supportive and he may want you to go to gay meetings with him and maybe take him to the "gay" doggy park instead of the straight one. Ignore your religious beliefs cause he is your pet and you should love him no matter what
My personal oppinion - He doesnt wanna mate = no puppies = accept him as a great a pet and not a great stud. So look for a stud elsewhere untill he plucks up the courage

One time I had this problem with my male, on his second breeding, with a female who was receptive and according to cytology was the correct day. We tried for two days, and the male just was not sufficiently interested, on the third day I consulted my vet and he gave him a testosterone injection, saying it would take 12-14 hours to take effect. The same afternoon though, about two hours later, he bred with the female quickly and easily, and then again for several more days (no more injections). Since then he has had no further problems, though he is never interested in a female when it is too early. I have a feeling that the injection did not affect things in this case, it was the timing, but it may be something you could try if your male behaves like this with several females.

Some males are pretty smart about when a bitch is in heat, and do not get overly excited until the exact time they are "ready". Having said that, if a male will not breed naturally, *I* personally would not reproduce his genes. Nature is saying something loud and clear. Just my 2 cents. Hope all is well with him.
