Some time ago a neighbor of mine bought a wolf hybrid. I'm not afraid of many dogs but that one sent chills up my spine the way it stared at me. It was no more than 2-3 days later that I heard a comotion and ran outside to see my neighbor swinging at the dog with a 2x4 as it was trying to attack him. So as cute as that pup is, it can stay in California.

There are more than 5, 6, 10, 12 however many wolf hybrids in the US.  I know wolf hybrid breeders personally.  One of them occasionally has blues, but doesn't pawn them off as rare.  With that said high content wolf hybrid litters are only available in THE SPRING.  Not mid/late summer.  A lot of times the blue comes from a blue German Shepherd put into the mix.  Through selective breeding they may have a hybrid who is higher percentage wolf, with Shepherd/Husky put into the mix.    I doubt it has a Pit Bull crossed into it, but I would vouch to say this is a low content wolf hybrid....no doubt it is a hybrid though.

And for the person saying the owner was hitting the hybrid with the 2 by 4 because the wolf was attacking... the fact is, most people.....that one included don't have the knowledge or experience to own a hybrid.  I've been around enough, and my pack shows a lot of the traits that I commonly see in the wolf hybrids.  I personally think I could own and handle one without problems.  If anyone really wants a hybrid they should look at a low content hybrid who just has a Husky or Malamute as the other part of the cross and being the majority of the percentage.
