i thought it was silly to bring it up myself Shelly.. people like Petapal and the OP are just digging shit up to try to make one or the other look better. Sorry for everyone involved.. hope peace finds you both soon.

 Know one can be sure but we do not know if any Pups were born at all, she was pregnant thats as far as it goes some talk of her having a difficult time at the birth but most of that must be heresay

Whenever I did a breeding, I had to me gobs of money in case something happened as it did with a C section that was not expected.  Now C Sections cost anywhere from $2K to $5K and over!!!!  If I were to do it today, I'd have the $5K plus ready in MY pocket and not expecting anyone else to foot it.

I fed real goat's milk and at one time I was buying 15 qts at a time and the store asked me to be sure to let them know when I was cutting down and I did.  Ea Qt at that time cost $3 and now who knows???  I was using say 15 a day, but that was so long ago now.

I would never ever put myself or allow myself to be in a postion where I could not care for ALL of my dogs.  I would not have so many dogs, I could not care for them.  I would do without myself while caring for ALL of my dogs.  If I had already too many, I would not take in another even if it was small.  My GSDs are my family first.  I would do for my current responsibilities first and not taken on more.

I would not take in an abusive or irresponsible person in my life whether man or woman or husband or wife or partner when I have my dogs and because they are in my home and there first, they come FIRST!!!  If that is done, get out, but have money where it is safe and a good lawyer to protect you.  Your responsibilites come FIRST, Period.

My dogs, rescues or not, have always known that they are safe with me health, care, training, love wise.  They do not want to be away from me, as they know that they do not know the other person, but know that they have unconditional love and care and safety with me.  Look into their eyes and as others have said, their eyes tell their loyality in our family.

Sorry, but this is my feeling ~~~ care for your first family first and if you get them after you hook up with a fool, the fool is on his/her own, but the dogs need their human for safety, health, care, love again period.
