Thanks GSDalways :-) My husband picked him out at four weeks old because of his head. He isnsists that Judge will have a very masculine head when he matures.
I really liked his brother's looks the best to be honest...But I asked the breeder to send me weekly updates on their progress once they opened their eyes and got mobile, and this one's personality appealed to me the most.
He was the most dominant and also handled their vet visits and new surroundings with ease. The whole litter was happy and outgoing with visitors. But this one sounded the best to me.
His brother is very, very dark, (with the "raccoon eyes) has a broader face, shorter and wider muzzle, smaller, perky ears, bigger eyes... I just thought his brother was cuter, you know personal preferences... haha!... But now that I have him home I like him a lot and think he's adorable. He has already won me over :-)

Yeah, yeah, he's pretty, but how's the grip and drives? ;)

Steve, Thanks...Matt thinks he'll look like his sire too. :-)
Sam,
Hahaha.. I was going to make a joke about him slipping all over my hard wood floor and not being old enough for a license but it sounded really lame ....
so far he chases everything that moves and has followed me all over the house all day. The cool part is that he walks right beside me in a nutural heeI, now if he keeps that up for the rest of his life I'd be one lucky lady! Of course once he gets used to it here he'll probably have me fit to be tied :-)

Judge has raccoon eyes too! He's adorable. Will he be your husband's dog to train as I'm sure your hands are already full with the three aspiring females and your older male dog, Galan which you have plans for BH this year :)

Thanks GSDRULE and Poseidon! I guess he does
Sigh... no my husband is just not interested in training so I can't force it on him. I want my dogs to enjoy training :-)
Not to mention we argue too much when he handles one of the dogs, and I am forever telling him he's doing this or that wrong. Then I make sarcastic remarks like "well do I tell you how to rebuild carberators?" And he throws up his hands and says "train your own dogs then!"

I'm taking Galan for his BH is September, (he's looking really good!) and then Indi will be old enough to go for hers around the end of December or beginning of January.
I'm going slower with Lina since she requires more patience (she is very, very high strung and needs a ton of exercise every day)
So far Caya has been my easiest to train and work with. Even though she has pretty nice drives she behaves the best. LOL
Gotta have one with manners, we'll see how this little guy turns out :-)

So glad you posted pics!!!! Super pup! Love his color and face! Will enjoy watching him grow up on here! ; )
Can you show me a link to his sire and dam?
My friend Betsy just got a new male pup which I got to see tonight for the first time. I was really impressed with its temperament and conformation. I can't remember the name of the kennel right now, but sire and dam were titled. We had fun doing puppy recalls.
Well, keep us posted with pics!!!!
