OMG, Jackal, you're right about the action shot!

It's kind of like seeing photos of pulis jumping Vom Marischal -- you go, "I know there's a dog in there *somewhere*".  That rooster is "there's a chicken in there somewhere if you look hard enough".  Cute guy.  If he has a personality to match the looks I can see where people keep them as pets instead of fancy livestock, because they must be a riot.

Is that a Frizzled rooster ? Very cool. My chickens are not so lucky.. they fly right into the back yard and get eaten. I keep them cooped right now, but I plan on clipping wings and setting them free.

He really is docile.... These guys do not care about the dogs, and I have taught the dogs that THESE chickens are friends NOT FOOD!!!

However my little white Silkie met her demise with Dina, it was Dina's 2nd day here, and I made a BIG mistake and forgot the 2 pictured chickens were out..... RIP flower...

HAHAHAHAHA!! OMG what a great looking rooster. OK, next on my "need to get" list are some of those chickens if I can find someone to help me build a coop.

RIP Poor Alfalfa!
My daughter cryed for days, I may have shed a tear or two. He belonged to her. He was the sweetest Rooster we have ever owned. He drowned in the duck pond being chased by another chicken.

This sounds like a clucking soap opera! LOL

(...condolences on Alfalfa, I don't mean to be insensitive to your loss!)

I was shocked and saddened to read your last post, Rugers, and  I know how you feel.  It's amazing how attached we can get to our silly little feathered friends, but they really are endearing.  He was a very handsome bird with a great personality.

Oh I'm so sorry!  I was reading the thread, and didn't notice the date...  Sounds like he was an awesome rooster.
