Terrible positioning but the puppy is very young, give him a few months and re x-ray.
Why did you x-ray?
Was he lame?
I have a 6 month old and I can hear her hips clicking at times (although she has never be lame) I believe that they will settle down with light exercise and swimming. I will x-ray in a few months if I am still concerned.
