No, Al and Gene aren't the same in tracking.  Gene has a successful tracking program, Al has a failing tracking program.  Does Al teach the "such-platz" just like Gene?  Hmm.  Better see both before you answer that question.  Obviously, you don't know Gene's program that well.

About 20 years ago there were a hand full of guys in the USA,
Gene and Al are two of them, it was not hard to see what they do. Gene
Competed many times so I know well his tracking.  Gene is a good
guy every body likes him and he has taught alot of people. But
to be truthful I only remember a couple of his dogs.

I am sure it is worth arguing about.  Not

You are right, not worth arguing about. To the other guy...

So, I am having a discussion with my full first and last name, with somebody named "trust serum"? Okay.

So what if he failed in tracking? Everybody fails from time to time, I did too and I will again and again and again. Then, I'll look at the size of my small dick, shake my head, dust off and do it again. So, joke or no joke, the guy is good at tracking.

Gene England, hopefully, his knee will be better soon, should (or will) come back to our neck of woods and do a seminar. I'll be there, not because I like tracking, I hate the fucking thing, but because I can learn from him,

Again, It doesn't help that I don't like tracking or anything to do with it, but I do it, because I have to, since it's 3 disciplines in the sport.

If I were a single guy, it's like doing a chubby, chatty friend of a hot chick to get her out of the way, so you can get to the good stuff (protection),

Damn... Now, that I think about it, it did happen a few times in my backpacking days around Europe in the early to mid 1990s...

Adi,

Sorry about the small dick, size does not matter, so they say.
I am a single guy so I will let the lady's answer that. But One of the first dogs I ever had was
a very good tracker, I mean like a vacuum cleaner. Had nothing to
do with any training. I took her out with a group and there were 4 national
champions tracking with me that morning. When it was her time to
train one them took her to the track started going sook, sook, and she
just went her merry way, no problem. So we started on harder more difficult
tracks same thing.  She was  way beyond anything in schutzhund in tracking.
You could let that track set for days and same thing, she was that good.  That was years ago,
all these guys knew Gene and AL.  I can see why you don't like tracking though.
I love to track and I am mainly Ring sport. Tracking when I was younger, was
time to spend with my dog in the country. Early in the morning. Peaceful, quiet
a time I could look at the dog over all for his or her attributes and faults.
Your just not that  type of person
. The other thing, it is the beginning of scent work which I
think is important.

How is that for discussion?
