Thanks crhuerta,

here in Texas its been in the 90's and we're melting......

all northern dogs will still have beautiful coats, ours have already blow most of their undercoats they just don't look as plush any more.......oh well!

by crhuerta on 23 May 2010 - 21:05

The dogs here are ALL blowing coats!  The weather has been "warm" lately....and the dogs are losing hair by the buckets!!
BALD dogs on this side of the States, for sure......ALL of my dogs are without coat at this time...yuck!
Oh well....not much one can do about it at this time....
See ya there!

She will mature into a nice lady with strong topline.

ibrahim - thanks!

a group of us have been getting together to practice gaiting our dogs. we switch dogs and owners run and others practice handling. its hard work in the 90 degree weather and its allot of fun too. we're all getting into better shape from all this exercise too...... when we take breaks,  the breeders and handlers with experience tell us so many wonderful stories from years gone by.

out doing something with your best friend, making new freinds and getting in shape all while laughing about crazy stories .......its a win/win for all. dog ownership just doesn't get any better...

This is a show line pedigree. Don't see no working lines in this dog what so ever.

SVV-3, IPO-3, SPS

SVV-3's have never been just given away.......

It's good the dogs will be used to heat, it was in the 90s today in Chicago so it could very well be that warm for the show.

by SitasMom on 24 May 2010 - 05:05

The temp was only 86 when we set out for our gaiting work today. the dogs pulled for about 2 miles and only stoped when I couldn't take it any more. The last 100 yards or so was a fast gait to the car. I though my heart was going to die. The dogs were just fine, though they were quiet for the rest of the evening. I sure hope they will be in good enough shape for the show. I've heard that some judges will have them circle for a good long time just to wear them out and then aske them to pick up the speed. Guess it doesn't really matter much any more if they're not in good enough shape, its too late now.

How much gaiting is enough, how much do you do before a Seiger show?
What other ways do you prepare a dog for gaiting in the show?

Vlady-Sal is a Slovakian Showline kennel.... Nice people.

http://www.vladysal.sk/

Probably a nice Showline female BUT your pedigree is a show line dog's pedigree sitas mom..more so the show people should be recognized for breeding such a nice female (never met her, writing about the titles).. no working line in this pedigree.

OH and YES SVV3 titles have been literately given away.. I have seen experienced even told the judge that he should be shot for that!

Please unless you trialed in the Slovakian behind the barn trials as i have seen put together whete every dog passed tracking and none should have... I could tell you stories. I am not saying this is the case.. I am just disagreeing with you.

I think it's fairly common for a novice to assume dogs with working titles to be from working lines.  It's also not that easy to read Czech pedigrees.  Nice looking dog, good luck at the SS.
